Small nonprofits cannot benefit from charitable gift annuities probably because the reserve of $100,000 required by NC is out of reach. It would be great if Community Foundations, e.g. Triangle CF and NC CF, could be an umbrella organization for smaller nonprofits to sponsor their CGAs, much like the United Methodist Foundation provides this service to local churches.
